This Code of Conduct establishes the standards of behaviour expected of all individuals who interact with Chat Japan, including visitors to this website and clients who engage our services.

1. Purpose and Scope

This Code of Conduct establishes the standards of behaviour expected of all individuals who interact with Chat Japan, including visitors to chatjapan.world and clients who engage Chat Japan for professional services. These standards apply to all forms of communication and interaction, whether conducted through this website, by electronic mail, by telephone, by video conference, or in person. Chat Japan is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and inclusive environment for all parties. Compliance with this Code of Conduct is a condition of accessing our website and engaging our services.

2. Professional Standards

All parties engaging with Chat Japan are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the following standards. 2.1 Respectful Communication. All communications shall be conducted in a respectful and professional manner. Conduct that is abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise offensive will not be tolerated under any circumstances. 2.2 Honesty and Accuracy. Clients are required to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information in all dealings with Chat Japan. The provision of false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in the immediate termination of services without liability to Chat Japan. 2.3 Confidentiality. All parties acknowledge that information shared in the course of a professional engagement is confidential in nature. Clients shall not disclose confidential information relating to Chat Japan, its team members, its processes, or other clients, without prior written consent. 2.4 Good Faith. All parties are expected to engage with Chat Japan in good faith and with genuine intent to pursue the objectives agreed upon at the commencement of an engagement.

3. Website Usage Standards

Visitors to chatjapan.world are required to comply with the following standards. 3.1 Visitors shall not use this website for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose. 3.2 Visitors shall not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of this website, its underlying systems, or any data contained therein. 3.3 Visitors shall not use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or similar technologies to extract content from this website without prior written consent from Chat Japan. 3.4 Visitors shall not transmit unsolicited commercial communications, malware, or any content that may compromise the security or integrity of this website or its users. 3.5 Visitors shall not engage in conduct that misrepresents their identity or affiliation with any person or organisation.

4. Client Standards

In addition to the general standards set out above, clients engaging Chat Japan for professional services are required to comply with the following. 4.1 Timely Communication. Clients are expected to respond to requests for information, documentation, or decisions within a reasonable timeframe. Unreasonable delays that materially affect the delivery of services may result in additional costs or the suspension of services. 4.2 Lawful Conduct. Clients shall not engage Chat Japan for any purpose that is unlawful under the laws of Japan or any other applicable jurisdiction. Chat Japan reserves the right to decline or terminate any engagement where there are reasonable grounds to believe the client's objectives are unlawful. 4.3 Respect for Third Parties. Clients shall treat all third parties introduced or engaged by Chat Japan — including but not limited to real estate agents, lawyers, contractors, and government officials — with respect and professionalism. 4.4 No Circumvention. Clients shall not attempt to circumvent Chat Japan by directly engaging third parties introduced by Chat Japan for the purpose of avoiding agreed fees or obligations.

5. Non-Discrimination

Chat Japan does not tolerate discrimination of any kind. No person shall be treated less favourably on the grounds of race, nationality, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or any other protected characteristic. Any conduct that constitutes discrimination or harassment will result in the immediate termination of the relevant engagement or website access.

6. Intellectual Property

Clients and website visitors shall not reproduce, distribute, modify, or otherwise exploit any intellectual property belonging to Chat Japan — including but not limited to its name, logo, brand identity, written content, and proprietary processes — without prior written consent.

7. Consequences of Breach

Chat Japan reserves the right to take any or all of the following actions in response to a breach of this Code of Conduct. 7.1 Issue a formal written warning. 7.2 Suspend or permanently restrict access to chatjapan.world. 7.3 Terminate a client engagement immediately and without further obligation, subject to payment of any fees already incurred. 7.4 Pursue legal remedies available under Japanese law or any other applicable jurisdiction. The appropriate response to any breach will be determined at the sole discretion of Chat Japan, having regard to the nature and severity of the conduct in question.

8. Reporting a Concern

Any person who witnesses or experiences a breach of this Code of Conduct is encouraged to report it promptly. Reports may be submitted by electronic mail to info@chatjapan.world. All reports will be treated with discretion and investigated in a timely and impartial manner. Chat Japan will not subject any person to adverse treatment as a consequence of raising a genuine concern in good faith.

9. Amendments

Chat Japan reserves the right to amend this Code of Conduct at any time. The date of the most recent revision is indicated at the top of this page. Continued use of this website or continued engagement of Chat Japan's services following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised Code of Conduct.

10. Governing Law

This Code of Conduct is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with this Code of Conduct shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
